    Thermostat troubleshooting 1972/351c

I went through the same issue 2 years ago. Here's the thread I started then: http://www.stangnet.com/mustang-forums/783075-thermostat-necessary.html

So is your camera date messed up, or have you truly been working on this for the last 3 years (not that there's anything wrong with that). :D

OK, that was weird. Clicking that link is like entering a parallel universe.

As long as that's what your chosen paint selection recommends.

I wasn't suggesting that you buy the videos (I'm also not suggesting that you don't). Check out the forum on Kevin's site - lots of good free info there. FYI - Kevin is also a member of Stangnet.

    Restoring a Rusted Roof

If you're going to do the paint yourself, start by selecting the paint. Use only primers and clear coats recommended. Primer, paint and clear will all have recommended nozzle size, CFM, and PSI. Select gun(s) and tips based on these recommendations. Select compressor based on most demanding gun...

    Restoring a Rusted Roof

Who's going to do the final paint? You ($3,000 rough estimate for paint, compressor, guns, hoses, misc.) Maaco ($300 to $1,200+) Local Mid-level quality garage ($3,000 +) Local High Quality (show quality) garage ($12,000 +)

    Restoring a Rusted Roof

Products such as Metal Ready are Rust "Converters", not Rust Removers. You can get better info by comparing MSDS sheets: Rust Converter = 3 - 7% Phosphoric Acid Rust Remover = 15 - 40% Phosphoric Acid Converters chemically change rust (hence your black pits) and may (depending on...

New Guy wants to get garaged 65 Fastback on road

OT Once you select your kit, you click the image in hopes of seeing a larger one, but it just opens another window of the same page. They state: "You may see and read about these kits and learn which is best for your car by clicking HERE." which yields: page not found.

Phosphoric Acid is the same thing as Metal Ready that Por15 sells. What did Home Depot charge for it?

Is this opportunity knocking? $8,000 1999 GT

Yeah, I kinda figured that. In this case all it means is it has the 35th anniversary badge, which personally does nothing for me. Thanks for the fast input. I knew I could count on you guys. I really wasn't in the market, but I also know that when a good deal lands in your lap - he who...

Is this opportunity knocking? $8,000 1999 GT

I need some input from you guys. I have an opportunity to purchase a 1 owner 1999 35th anniversary edition Mustang GT. 100% stock for $8,000. Automatic. Power Driver Seat. 3 alarm systems (one is lowjack) 90,000 mostly highway miles, never driven in snow, always garaged through entire...

please help me before i buy a 73 fast back.

People who are new to these cars are fooled by the term "Ram Air". The 351C without the Ram Air hood, plenum and air cleaner, have an odd twisted plastic box that directs air from the front of the car, under the battery tray, to the air cleaner snorkel. Though this does force air into the air...

please help me before i buy a 73 fast back.

To each his own. The world would be pretty darn boring if we all drove 67 fastback Eleanor clones. Personally, I never cared for the 1970, but that’s just me – hence I don’t own one. You know what they say: “They’re all just phallic symbols anyway”. Mine just happens to be bigger than yours. But...

    73 mach 1 build

Just be careful, Por15 will maintain a flame once it ignites. While you have access, you might want to consider putting a screen over top of the chimney that will prevent mice from entering the heater box.

    71 grill in a 73 mach1

I better squash the misinformation before you start throwing money at this. The correct answer to your question is "NO", you cannot install a 71/72 grill in a 73 mach1 and keep the 73 fenders and bumper. The 71/72 grill has a plastic lip at the base that will interfere with the 73 bumper. The...
