What engine 351W or big block 390

i'd go for the 390. no replacement for displacement, and so going with the FE is chepaer that way. plus, like they said, you can get some seriously big cubes out of it if you want. they aren't that great with factory stuff, but with minot improvements can be made into GREAT runners. that's...

    Restromod advice needed

i hear that '69 and '70 seats look sharp. i have pro-car scats and they're kind of a pain... just get a new steering box and a good, solid suspension with subframes, etc. we did that in out '67 vert and it made a huge difference. house of kolor makes GREAT paint, some of the best in the...

Kinda new to classic motors question

it's easiest to go carb'd, that's what i'd do if you're new to these cars. 4.6's are pretty hard to put in since they're really too wide for the engine bays. an injected 5.0 isn't too too hard though, if that's what you really want, and there's plenty of ppl who have done it who can help you out...

"Ricer" writes a letter to Car Craft...must read

evo's are fast, nobody can deny it. and better yet, they make you pay extra to put the goofy spoiler on, i seriously think that was a good move. but they look like crap, to my eyes.

Why did Ford build 2 different 351 engines?

i liek both clevelands and windsors. the windsor was just a stretched 289/302 block that was cheap to make, and the cleveland was built to take more abuse and be more of a "true" muscle car engine. the M engines were truck/smog engines. torquey suckers though...
