    Yeah, 356 does sound pretty high for a brand new car. My shelby had 25 or so, and my '04 had 64. Did they throw in any extras? Or maybe add those miles to the warranty?

    I would do it all now.. While you have the car ripped apart, it's much easier. I did not connect the VSS wire on mine.. From what I have read, it's not that important, and doesn't affect the overall performance of the unit (end the D3 even has gauges).. If you do decide to connect the wire...

    http://forums.stangnet.com/731487-avic-d3-installed-lots-pictures.html I installed the D3 with the Shaker 1000.. You probably need to install the voltage regulator even for the Shaker 500. Call Crutchfield regarding your harness. Or check out avic411.com. I got the BOYO backup camera...

    Yes.. California "requires" front plates.. but they don't enforce it. (at least they don't in this area). I have never put front plates on my cars.. It's just like the tint law.. cops would be pulling people over left and right.. Next time you sit at a stop light, count all of the cars...

    what oil are you running?

    Mobil 1 5w-20 full synthetic. The local Costco does not carry this grade, so I get it at wal-mart. I buy a 5 quart jug, as well as an additional quart.. I use a motorcraft filter as well.

    Technically yes, although they were sold nationwide.. They are considerded the SGT-Cs.. (C for California)

    Hmm.. Never heard of it (and I am from So. Cal). I do know of the "San Diego Special" Mustangs. They had V6s. They have "SDS" on the front fenders. Show some pictures of your car.. including anything that designates what it is.

    Even if Mustangs only get high teens, the tc still needs to go.. :rolleyes: With the Shelby, I get about 22-23, depending on how hard I try. When premium (regular mustangs take regular) was close to $5, I paid attention.. Now that it's below $4, I have been playing a bit more than usual...

    Hmmm.. no problems here.. There are so many cars at shows with the TT rims.. I highly doubt they are poor quality.. (even if they are made overseas)..

    What a shame.. I'm guessing the driver was distracted by that disgusting haircut and the wifebeater.. :shrug: I'm sure the car is insured.. And, if it is a defect that caused the wreck, Ford should pay for everything.. :rolleyes:

    I may be dumb...but,

    The Shelby billet pins are nice, although the original stainless pins are a little cheap. You don't have to use the cables.. :shrug:
