    attatching mechanical gauges

Yeah, I'd be interested in hearing if anyone has figured out an easy way to run stock AND aftermarket gauges. I'd like to know just exactly what my oil pressure is. Where did you mount your gauges? --P

    Retorque Heads

Quick question: When you replace the head gaskets, do you need to retorque the heads after a certain time/mileage? If so, what? Thanks!

    NPD experiences

Dallas Mustang--I used them once and the door panels/trim they sent me were pure garbage. Sent it back and I won't use them again. Virginia Mustang, NPD and a few others get my business. VA Mustang gets a lion's share. I just wish they'd add a 1 800 number. --P

GOOD NEWS! Well, how about not as bad news?

Hi all-- For those of you who have been following the continuing saga of oil loss in the 66, I found something interesting today. RECAP: Oil loss at highway speeds. Possible bad ring. So-So compression, but nothing too bad. Anyway, I was under the car replacing my oil pressure...

Back to daily driving the classic, any tips?

Blake--As a person who just had a flat on Monday on the way to work, make sure you have a good lug nut wrench--not that POS that came originally! Fortunately, my aged scissor jack was recently greased and held the car up. You might get a cowl cover to toss in the trunk. I daily drive mine...

MCA Judging Sheet for Conc. Trailered?

I have a friend who is putting back together his 64.5 vert and will show in Concourse Trailered. Anyone know where I can get an example of a judging sheet to show him? I have mine, but they are Daily Driven and not as detailed as the Conc. trailered. I loaned him my copy of the MCA rules, but...

Question about checking MC pushrod length

I don't know about a 68, but I was told that on a 65/66 that you needed to get an adjustable rod to take up the slack. Got mine at VA Mustang and it is waiting to go in the car. --P

    Eagle STs?

My tire guy cut me a deal on a set of Eagle GTII's. His cost with free mounting/balancing and such. (He's a fellow mustanger.) It also doesn't hurt that he's put tires on my truck and my wife's VW in the past month. These are a solid white letter. The tire didn't pick up a nail--it split...

    Eagle STs?

That's what I had heard, too. My tire guy told me that Goodyear dumped them because they lasted too long! Mine have certainly lasted a long time. A set of tires is not what I wanted to buy right now. . . . :nonono:

    Eagle STs?

Hey all--anyone know if these are still available? I picked up TWO damn nails this AM and had one go flat on me. My spare doesn't match and the three others all have tread left. Hopefully my tire guy can work wonders with a patch/plug. Still, had that thing swapped out in 10 minutes. Felt...

    66 Glove Box Locks

I have heard that the "snout" on the 65 WILL work on a 66, but is is about 1/2 an inche too short, so it looks kind of goofy. I'm trying to find one as I'm tired of people opening my glove box at car shows. (My stereo is in my glove box, so they don't need to be poking around with that. . ...

    Aftermarket Dizzy?

K-- I'm running and older Mallory module. Had it in there for years. That's why I'm concerned that a cap adaptor won't work. --P

    Aftermarket Dizzy?

D--Excellent idea--and much cheaper. Will the adapter work with a petronix module? EDIT--Duh. I see you ARE running this setup. Sheesh. Of course, this all may be for naught as Ivan may force me to lash pontoons to the side of the 'stang and take to the high seas--or at least...

    Aftermarket Dizzy?

:D I heard billet ANYTHING on your car adds 50 HP at the rear wheels! :nice: I'd heard that, too, but I want to hear first hand before I drop big bucks on one.

    Aftermarket Dizzy?

Hi all-- I'm thinking of replacing my stock distributor with an aftermarket so I can run thicker plug wires and have a larger cap. What kind of aftermarket dizzy are you running and do you like it? I'd like something that looks mostly stock--black cap, black wires--but that isn't set in...
