    G-- I can take or leave the pillar gauges, but I REALLY like those white faced "main" gauges. Those look really good. What are the gauges on the pillar? Can you see the top one? It looks pretty high. --P

    I agree with Ron. Don't want to look like i just dropped $50 at Pep-boys for a bunch of cheap dials and a goofy piece of plastic to hang them in . If I was going to add gauges, I'd add them either, somehow, in the console, or along the bottom of the dash. I kind of like the 65/66 shelby dash...

    When I was in NC--Durham--I had a 65 plate on the front of my 65. This plate I'm running is a 66 LA plate and $32 later, I have a permanent legal plate on the back of my car. I just want to keep it there!

    What about those high end plate covers that supposedly cover the bolts? I've got 66 LA plates. Thank God they don't have the pelican on them--those are a hot commodity.

    Oz, plus it gets PLENTY hot down here. When did choosing an oil get so damn difficult? What about the "High Mileage" oils? I get a lot of engine noise when I run 20/50, so I don't run that anymore. The stuff we run in my wife's Diesel VW is delvac-1. Pure snythetic at $25 a gallon...
