A/C! I was thinking about that because I never had a II with A/C! My 76 Cougars had A/C and vac cans.

Please help me settle this arguement!

My 235/50/13's are only 21.5" tall! with the C4 and 3.55 gears the cruise RPM is off the chain! In my particular case the locked rear axle improved launch drastically. The car used to hook up on the street 50% of the time, now it hooks 95% of the time. The other 5% of the time it is like Cheech...

    First Car show

I go to many cruises in the II and it never fails to attract attention. The people that like II's far out number the II haters. From my experience Most II haters own a Mustang of a different era. Most peolpe that dis the II do it in a playfull way. Like the Ford Vs Chevy playfull rivalry. The...

I have yet to replace the quick fix cable end with vacuum cap hose clamped to it replacement cable! I want to get an electronic Autometer Speedo and have it cailibrated at a speedo shop for...

    American Racing Slotted Mags

Yeah I was likely conceived in the back seat of my dads 69 Cougar (with five slots) while my follks listened to 8 tracks back in 1974. Not that long ago really :rlaugh: Saddly I am almost twice as old as some of the gals and dudes on the II forum. I was wearing pink shirts and white pants...

    Vacuum Reservoir Purpose

I have never seen a II with a vacuum reservoir before?? All 5 of my II's were V6 and V8 cars though. A few of my cars came in a basket so who knows what they may have had though :D Far as I know the only reason for a vac can is to keep a constant high level of vaccum to run vac accesories like...

Please help me settle this arguement!

Oh, I will regret posting this I can already feel the burn from the flames :D I have a stock car mini spool in my Mach. The mini spool takes the place of the spider gears and locks both axles togeather permently. I put one in as a stop gap measure until I could afford a posi unit. Truth is the...

    American Racing Slotted Mags

Wow I saw that American Racing brought them back, but I never dreamed they would make them in a 4 on 4 1/4" bolt circle! What were they thinking? Fox body and Saab guys would buy them? I am not sure why they did, but I need to order them before they discontinue them :D American Racing...

    Quick Question

Have you checked into container prices to possibly bring it with you? Driving a Mustang is cool in any country! I would check into the countries laws depending on where you are going you may have trouble registering it. The Mustang II was sold in many countries so it may be no problem. I just...

Please help me settle this arguement!

http://www.powertrax.com/noslip.html I agree with Sleeper! The powertrax unit replaces your spider gears and makes your rear axle locking. Posi, Limited slip, and twin grip are all just different copy righted names by different manufactures for a "locking differential". Generally a locking...

M-II weak components for drag racing?

What I would recomend for an 12-11 second Mustang II: 1.Have new rear springs made with an extra leaf. My car hooks really well with no axle hop now. (I actually scaped the rear bumper with the stock springs) :D 2.Frame connectors. (I modified the Comp engineering Pinto frame connectors)...

    Keeping the balance

I have a 1991 H.O 5.0l on the engine stand. Not sure what I am going to do with it. I know it will replace the power plant in my II. My II has a Mustang II C4 automatic transmission in it. For those of you that have put an H.O into a II, how did you sort out the flexplate balance issue??
