    I found a original 69 mach 3speed 351 in a lot and the guy wants $1500 for it, but i think he'll go for the grind. Appears to be all numbers matching. Original blue with black interior that is still in good condition. The body has a little hood damage and the 1/4s have some rust, but not rotting...

    i think they will squeeze in there. the 9.5" up front will most likely rub. and the tires will probably be real low profile = you better like buying tires. i wouldnt go over17" IMO. just my .02

    yea thats what i figured. a 69 stang with a 351 and a stick is gettin pretty hard to find. and the guy doesnt know if its a mach or not. if its a mach its wayyy worth it.

    i was wondering what some obvious reasons why a 351 would not run. lets say the nothing majorly wrong/blown motor. the thing is, is that i dont know if it cranks...until saturday that is. im going to look at this 69- sportsroof, 351, 3speed for $1500. even not running thats a good deal i think...

    yep use ATF. some people pour it through the ****er area and put there finger in the fill plug to see when its full. :shrug:

    I first had a 69 coupe, then a 87 GT, and i have sold both and im keeping my eye out for a 69-70 with a stick. I recently caught word of a 69 sportsroof, 351, 3-speed for $1500. the guy i talked to said he does not think the motor runs, and the body is 'fixable'. he said it isnt a rust bucket...

    WTF? my oil psi sender looked nothing like that in my 69 or my 87. your oil psi sender should look somewhat like your autometer. same shape and all. the pic is from 50resto 79-04 oil psi sending unit :shrug: mine was like this didnt you get another sender with your gauge (2)??? does...
