    What is this? **SEE PIC**

I can say potholes, what the hell does that have to do with anything? A tubular K-member that is built properly will be stronger than the stamped steel stocker.

Steeda crank pulley bolt for stock crank pulley, possible

The Steeda bolt is not TTY. The Steeda is a Grade 8 fastener and can be re-used, IIRC.

Looking for How-to "Changing tranny fluid"

I've always had oil-change shops do my auto trannys. You usually won't be able to flush all of the fluid out of the torque converter and other various hiding places by doing this in the driveway. For a manual, just drain and fill... but its a bit more involved to do a good job with an auto.

SES lean codes after TB pipe ??

I ran a C&L on two different cars for 2 years with no issues. Added the WMS hi-flow inlet pipe and began tossing codes like you've never seen. Ditch the tube or ditch the C&L.

That's the C&L for you. Been there, done that. Pro-M user now.

How often do you grease/lube your car?

Most modern cars have grease-for-life. The service hours of todays greases can exceed the life expectancy of the bearings so many of them are maintenance-free. Its not that Ford expects it to break, its that you really don't need to do anything.

I know i'm going to get eaten alive for this but I have to ask:

Perhaps you would care to describe your strategy for engine management? Are you prepare to rewire the car, if necessary? Have you included the additional cost of all new accessories? Are you paying for labor, or doing the work yourself? If yourself, what is your time worth to you? Are you...

I know i'm going to get eaten alive for this but I have to ask:

There are a helluva lot easier ways to lose 100 lbs out of a car than doing surgery like that. Its like having liposuction instead of laying off the bon-bons. EDIT- [/b] My recommendation is to figure out what you actually want. Who cares if the engine is 'higher-revving' (whatever that...

    Spark plug change gone bad

Sounds like you have a mis-fire. I bet thats what the CEL is. Pull the boots, re-check the gaps and make sure you have good connections when you re-install.

    octane

#1. They are clearly morons. #2. Can you even BUY gas less than 87 octane anymore? #3. If you are pinging, you go higher octane.

    Adjustable Subframe Connectors?

Never heard of anything like that. You can have adjustable height control arms for weight-jacking the suspension, but I can't imagine how you could have an adjustable SFC that does any good.

Longevity of a 4.6 DOHC motor

The timing chains are not replacement items. The engines do not tolerate high RPM and oil starvation, so a baffled and sumped pan would be a good idea and billet oild pump gears would be good as well. Dry sump would be best for a true race application. Daily driving will not stress the...

    Autometer Temp Gauge?

Undo the T and reinstall the factory sender in the correct location. Find someplace else to put the Autometer sender. The T fitting will only ensure that neither sended sees a correct temperature. Pretty hard to mis-wire one of these. Hot 12V, ground, and sender wire.

T/A sensor touching the gear, how bad is this?

You're fine. This isn't exactly a delicate instrument, so as long as the car seems to be running healthy, I'm sure it probably is.

    it cost $721

Carrier bearings. Plural. The carrier is what holds the differential. I have the same noise, and I have long suspected my front pinion bearing. You are getting raped by Ford. The parts should be 20-30 bucks a bearing, tops. 2 pinions, 2 carriers, and 2 axle would put ALL new rear bearings in...
