    Ford Exlporer

If they are GT 40 or P heads there will be a set of bars on the front and rear, III for GT-40s and IIII for GT-40ps GT 40 heads will say GT on the corner of the casting, GT 40p heads will say GTP in the same spot. GT-40p heads will require MAC or FRPP headers for GT 40 p heads I...

Does my car have potential to run in the low 14's high 13's?

On a stock top end? You gotta remember he's dealing with a low-mid 15 second car stock since it's a heavy arse 'vert. The cam gives him very little help with E7 heads. Bolt ons, even with gears, aren't gonna take a full second and a half off his ET's. I say 14.6 or slower. But once again...

do i have an e-303 or b-303 cam???

Uhh, Guys IIRC a b cam has an LSA of 108 and the E is a 110, the B cams I've heard actually lope slightly harder than an E due to the lobe sep. F cam actuallyhas the mildest lsa of the alphabet cams (112) even though the lift is higher (.512). E is better for a blower than a B...

Does my car have potential to run in the low 14's high 13's?

:stupid: Pretty much says it all.. If it's your first time at the track, I doubt it.

94 5.0L Cobra Owners come in

Call and talk to a shop, they can really help you out. You aren't gonna get away cheap trying to hold 700 HP with a 302 block. You'll come out cheaper in the long run with a 351, Sportsman II or maybe a '69 block might hold at that power level if it doesn't see much track time. Best bet...

which shiftlight are you using and where is it mounted

Dan-I'm using the one you posted the pic of. Have some pictures of it I can email to ya, and I'm gonna update my cardomain site with interior pics this weekend if you want. It is on the column, not obtrusive at all. BTW I'm using a blue light and cover though.. :P

    Help, 94 Cobra problems

Yeah, it really sounds like a MAF issue to me. The car runs fine open loop, and when it goes closed it turns to crap. Could also be O2's as mentioned above. You said it has an S trim... How is it tuned? could be an issue with that too..

    ect sensor taking out timing

I was off, it's 210. Either way, daily operation on mine was 215 in Louisiana summertime with the stock rad and fan settings, and I would notice the difference in power as it warmed up.

    ect sensor taking out timing

Even more true when all your timing tables are disabled except your base... >:) The ect sensor will cause the computer to pull timing when the coolant reaches 200 degrees. You'll feel the difference too.... However if you run a 180 T-stat and the fan on all the time, you'll never...

How do you reach your Dist. Screw?

I use a long extension with a "wobble" end and a crow's foot open-end socket... I tighten mine with the motor running and a buddy on the timing light.

    Piston

Those don't look like my stock 1994 Cobra pistons.. mine had matching valve reliefs in all 4 and a slight dish in the center bisecting the valve reliefs... Those look flatter on top and they can be installed either way on either side..... Either way, yes you smacked your pistons with...

Cowgirl Tink Introduces SVTCobra306 to REAL Horsepower!

I sat in the SN65 at WFC9 in STL. It's actually an engineering masterpiece if you really research what they did. They not only put on body panels, they completely mended the two cars. The car has the drive and feel of a modded '03 Cobra, and the external looks of a '65 Fastback. They did a...

reasons for snapping rocker arm bolts

Yeah make sure your geometry is good, I agree. What is your open/seat pressure? Mine are FRPP's with shims, and they have enough open pressure they cracked a pedestal on my stock Cobra rockers... I'm gonna replace them with the right springs for my cam. I think my open pressure was...

is an e303 cam too small for a 94 Cobra?

Hope your 'puter likes it. The 110 lobe sep and the newer computers don't play well with each other. The stock Cobra cam was only .485 lift, had less than 270 duration, and was like a 118 lobe seb. You really want to stick with a "blower cam" lobe sep with these cars, 112 or 114...

Cowgirl Tink Introduces SVTCobra306 to REAL Horsepower!

Uhh, STDr, you were right, sn95 chassis cars were '94-04 technically, although SN95 is usually used in reference to a '94-'98 Mustang, with the '99-04 called New Edge. So even though it's a '94, it is technically an sn95. :P

    What clutch for my stang?

Add to that: With a T-5 I wouldn't waste the money on a 10 spline clutch more aggressive than a Spec 1 or a KC. No sense spending 300 bucks for a clutch that'll hold more horsepower than it'll take to break your transmission IMHO....

Accufab - no throttle body for our years?

FYI Accufab did make a few 65mm TB's for '94s and 95s, but stopped production on them because they "weren't effective". Of course that was before the wealth of aftermarket intake choices.... I got the info from Accufab, I called them to confirm that the used one I bought over the 'net was...
