    Probably just a backfire... 2 car lenghts in the 1/4 mile is usually about .2 in ET. I betcha you could make up that .2 if you did ALL the stuff I recommended (including the timing :D). Oh, and the fronts are more important than the rears for you, get them up to high PSI next time...

    Nah, definitely not...I have the same converter as you, and I've found that I get the best launches by NOT brake torquing it. I have my left foot on the brake, my right foot RESTING on the gas, and when I get the go I pop the brake and smash the gas. Seems to propel the car forward pretty good...

    You have a good setup right now! Get a back support pillow for the WRX seat and stick with what you've got now: a kick ass commuter even in bad weather and a muscle car for the weekends. The 06 GT is NOT the solution to your problem.

    Use Castrol Syntec...20w50 in the summer and 10w30 in the winter. Working good so far.

    I guess I got lucky...when I dropped my 4.10 in I had no problems (besides banging the rev limiter between 1 and 2, but that was fixed just by letting off the gas for a quarter second). It's since been fixed by raising my rev limiter via the Tweecer. Dunno, pretty high. My rebuilt AODE...

    First of all...these boltons WILL NOT *REQUIRE* A CUSTOM TUNE NOR WILL THEY CAUSE PROBLEMS WITH THE ECU. Tails of the SN95 5.0's ECU troubles have been greatly exagerated. You will not run into problems until you run 30# or bigger injectors or until you run an aftermarket camshaft...

    Anyone else care to comment? One things for sure: Anything has got to be better than the POS stocker! I never realized how much the Cobra manifold helped until I put the stock one back on...wow, the car feels SO slow right now.

    Thanks for the feedback. This is the kind of information I'm interested in. One question, isn't the Holley even shorter runner/higher powerband than the TFS Track Heat/Eddy Performer RPM? I was under the impression that the Holley that Rio94GT went with was more comparable to the RPM II?
