    I dont disagree that a properly tuned s/c application will last, but my consern is with problems that happen. a little trbl with a fuel system, or timing,cooling,rev limiting..etc in a s/c application usually causes more damage than a N/A application...N/A is a bit more forgiving when things go...

    I have stock gears in my 97 cobra and ran a 13.82 at 104.5 mph completely stock on street tires 2.2 60' with rpm left in 3rd..w/ stock gears your good to 110mph or a little more in 3rd(i think the book says 115mph max in 3rd)..IF YOUR OUT OF RPM IN 3RD YOU ALREADY HAVE GEARS!..sounds like 3.73...

    18x9 wheels for 96cobra. what tire size? without rubbing

    Check out my sig. my car's lowered 2.5"(1.5" + cut 1 coil) and i have the saleen replica's, 265/35/18 front(which is what i would recommend for all four, for rotating purposes) and i put 285/35/18 in the rear. All Nitto 555....my tires only rub if i corner really really hard, other than that...
