How to get dents out of the roof?

Yes, that's how it is done. If you have had Bo Duke stomping around on the hood though, a more traditional approach is warrented. :nice:

sorry, another "what's it worth" thread... (help?)

Sorry, but not much. You need an engine rebuild, a tranny rebuild or replacement, mega body work, radiator, and possibly frame rail damage. I wouldn't touch it. :nonono:

    What to do with gas

Send it to me. I have this stupid illegal alien living next door, and he likes to burn brush piles underneath a living ceder tree. :nonono: I'm sure he could take it off your hands. :notnice:

What is a 68 shelby convertable 350 worth.

Whatever the owner can get for it, same as anything.

    seat belts

Wrong!!! Both passenger and car will stop at the same time. The belts are to keep the passenger in the car, and to keep the brains from being scrambled from impact on the windshield and/or dash. They also lend help in causing internal injuries if worn without a shoulder strap.

    *Stupid Question* Draining Cooling System

I know that's what they say, but many years ago, there was a chicken killing dog that used to come around. I let him have all of the green stuff he could slurp up. I saw him 3 or 4 weeks later and it looked like he had actually gained weight.

    *Stupid Question* Draining Cooling System

Only when leaking, although it is a good idea to replace them when doing a rebuild. The problem is limited access while the engine is in the vehicle. No need to pull the radiator unless he is having cooling problems. Most deposits stay in the block.

    *Stupid Question* Draining Cooling System

I hope that most in not everyone knows that the freeze plug idea was a very, very bad joke. Also do like D said. I personally would like to know the trials and tribulations of ANYONE who has taken out the threaded plug and kept their sanity.

    *Stupid Question* Draining Cooling System

Punch out a freeze plug AKA mold hole where they got the sand out, but I don't recommend it. Why not just flush the system?

    Missing

Blown power valve. Test this, by turning the idle screws all the way in to see if it smoths out. You will be reducing fuel, so it should help if the valve is the culprit.

    C4 shift adjustment

It's shifting about like it should. Not ideal for racing, but think of all the fuel you are saving.

So what is an opinion worth in today's market anyway?

The energy spent is still required to show you that I am right and that you are a poopy head. :D

    ????Perfect carb for a 289????

Loud headers don't make for an "aggresive" cam. I would think that IF there was a "stock" aggresive cam in it, someone would have put in an aftermarket carb. The problem is having too much carb, if your engine doesn't have the guts to handle it. If it doesn't, you get black spark plugs.
