    Hense why I mentioned a rich carb-choke condition. If you are truely into reading plugs, then you need to shut it down at full speed, let it coast somewhere safe, or trailer it home, and read them then. Plug conditions change as engine rpm changes. That's why NASCAR shuts them down on the back...

    Resistor Wire

    Any keyed 12 volt source will work, ie...ignition, voltage regulator etc.......... Some resisitor wires and/or blocks have lost their........well, resistance over the years and are putting out damn near 12 volts, but to be sure, run a new wire or test the one you have now.

    Pertronix recommends you run a NEW wire that is a full 12 volts for the unit. I run points still, and a simple bump of the starter fires it up, so I don't know how starting could be any better with.........

    How do you know it's from both sides? Did you have them put on an H pipe or some other crossover? New exhaust doesn't mean squat. Maybe you had a moron installer.     Nice progress. It still looks like there is a fit problem with the hood sides and the fender gap. Might be a shadow, but it looks like the hood isn't closed all the way.

    You got about 10 to 12 mpg. I get 19 to 21 on the highway.
