It's amazing how clean the old 5.0 can make 465rwhp look.......

Ford doesn't make them anymore:notnice: The best place I think is Ebay or the classified section on here. They are very hard to find in good shape. I found this one brand new on Ebay. Expect to pay as much if not more for a used one, than the BBK SSI.

It's amazing how clean the old 5.0 can make 465rwhp look.......

Are you thinking just the powerpipe powder-coated the same color as the intake, or also the Vortech discharge tube? I was thinking of leaving the discharge tube because it matches the Vortech head unit. Or...leaving the Vortech tube and doing the powerpipe in black?

It's amazing how clean the old 5.0 can make 465rwhp look.......

Yes, I agree. I wished I would have went with the polished Vortech. I think it would have looked better. I have thought about getting the polished Vortech discharge tube and seeing how that would look. I could send the discharge tube and the powerpipe off to get it powdercoated to match...

It's amazing how clean the old 5.0 can make 465rwhp look.......

I didn't have the sleeper idea in mind when I started working on it, but it has turned out to be a sleeper. I get alot of people who think it just has some nice wheels on it with nothing under the hood. With the stock cam, it is hard to tell anything has been done to it. It has surprised...

    Dyno Results from TMOSS lower.....Wow!!!

I believe that intake's powerband is alot higher than the GT-40. As far as flow, that would be a question for TMOSS or somebody else with more intake knowledge than me......:)

Anybody ever forget the little gaskets for the exhaust crossover for the 1262's?

Just got done installing a TMOSS ported lower along with Fel-Pro 1262 intake gaskets. The gaskets also have a smaller gasket that fits around the exhaust crossover hole. I forgot to put these on......:notnice: Has anybody ever forgot these too?? Is it a major deal? Am I going to throw a...

Those with Vortech Aftercooler...Remove front bumber cover?

I am looking at adding the Vortech aftercooler kit and was wondering if you guys that have done this, had to remove the front bumber cover? I had heard people not having to do it, but I don't see how I can get the water cooler in there, without doing it. In one of the Mustangs magazines...

Tiny leak at front of drivers side head?? Help....

Upon looking at it more, I think it is oil leaking out of where it would drain back into the block from the heads...... I pulled the valve cover and looked down the hole and didn't see anything out of the ordinary.

Tiny leak at front of drivers side head?? Help....

Well, I checked again and it is not coming from the timing cover or water pump. The leak is above both of these.

Tiny leak at front of drivers side head?? Help....

Yes, I used the ARP thread sealant on the lower studs. It is wet above the lower studs too....

Tiny leak at front of drivers side head?? Help....

Yes, I plan to do a compression check soon. I don't believe it is from my water pump/timing cover because the wetness is only around the front of the head. The timing cover and waterpump are bone dry. And the location doesn't really allow it to come from the timing cover and get wet where it...

Tiny leak at front of drivers side head?? Help....

I noticed that the front of my drivers side head is a little "wet" on the head gasket that you can see. It is wet along the front of the head and down to the tab from the head gasket that sticks out. I can't tell what the fluid is, but I assume it is coolant? It is not wet around the lower...

Muffler clamp Q. Flowmaster catback (PIC)

I think those clamps work very well. The only problem I have seen with them, is sometimes there isn't enough clearance around where you are trying to clamp. Like if a hanger is welded to the pipe close to the clamp. Sometimes they are too big. I had this problem on my X-pipe.
