    Clutch shot?

    The shifter will gladly go into gear physically - minimal force. Engine on or off. As normal. THe problem is that with the engine on, I can shift into gear and let the clutch completely out and NOTHING.

    '90 Stang... will not engage into any gear. Clutch cable works alright (stock quadrant) - car only starts with clutch pedal depressed / visual inspection shows clutch cable moving at tranny mount. Problem is, You can move the shifter into any gear/gate with or without depressing the clutch...

    Your right, as usual... I was thinking he was taking the whole 88 TC motor. Best bet is a swap... I've found a Merkur donor that I just have to get from Illinois to NY. :rolleyes: -Nick

    Hard is not the question... all projects in the garage are fun in one way or another :D Not terribly rewarding..? How so? I'm finally beginning my boosted 2.3 build. I'm not looking to run 12's on it, but 13-14 would make me happy... for now :)
