    I finally got my tracking details on the car. Maybe its the Build sheet? It looks like the window sticker of the car. It says its method of transp. is Rail. Where will it say when the car will/was built/ and will be delivered?

    2011 Auto trans gear option

    Nope it only has a 3.15 rear gear option. Its okay though, it makes up with a very deep deep first gear. Much deaper than the manual trans first gear. From what i have seen the Auto Trans is pretty much on par with the manual trans and 3.73 as far as performance goes.

    GM guy needs info on Modular engines.

    The blocks on the 4.6l, 5.4l, and 6.8l are all basically the same. There is some slight difference in deck height for stroke difference. But they are the ford Modular Family. The heads changed over the years from 2v, 2v PI, 3v, 4v, 4v Intech... And then theres the aluminum and steel block...

    Well i talked to the dealer yesterday, and the build date got moved back to October 4th, with a delivary date of October 17th. Wanna bet it gets moved back again. He said ford isnt planning on ramping up production on any vehicles. They said they waited 5 months for a custom order...

    I have always been a ford truck man and a pontiac Car man. just the way it is. I wish the mustang would come with T tops. I dont care where the trend started, they look nice and are very functional. I wish i could get some T tops in my 2011 mustang. I was actually dead set on a 1999-2002...

    Ya i orderd myne June 14th. I got my vin last friday. Schedualed build date of the week of september 27th. Who knows how long to ship it.

    Need stripes and HID lights

    Couple more questions. If i get a set of stick on stripes what are the best kind? Vynal? Will they look good? Will they peel up or fade or anything like that? What if i wanted to paint them on right after i get the car? I just dont want to ruin my car by putting graphics on it if its going...

    Just orderd a 2011 GT premium 5.0. Will i be disapointed???

    First gear in the auto is way deeper than the manual though. So im guessing that makes up for it. Second gear i think is pretty much the same in the manual and auto.
