    these newer cars dont need to be broken in like the older cars do, they have much much more exacting tolerances, breaking cars in now is just a myth. I have run mine hard since day one and i know many other people that have too, and our cars are fine. :)

    im going to be really cocky and say everyone is wrong except for the fuse. i had about 15 codes (10 of which generic scanners couldnt see) and no one could figure out what it was, i checked the fuses(the ones under the dash and thats what it was) . i didnt drive my car for about a month...

    check your fuses, i got a lot (15) codes when one of my fuses went out, they are under the dash on the left side of the drivers side.

    with a vortec, you should leave the line higher. drag radials will break axles more than slicks(if used correctly) i broke my rear after 7 passes on nitto drag radials and 5 grand launches.

    reuse both stock studs and gaskets, as long as you dont f up the gaskets pulling the old headers.

    lol, a 17rwhp CAI....BU**SH**! the cai isnt a restriction, the most that can be gained from it is 5 rwhp and that is because it will run more lean because of a massive filter. hp is not that easy. sorry.

    lose horsepower with h-pipe

    i had a BBK off road h pipe on my 98 and loved the sound with stock mufflers. it sounded mean as hell. i also trapped 96 or so with just that pulleys and timing adjuster. you cant tell me you lose power with it.
