    Built up 302 - Am I making a cooling mistake?

    If you use the later style water pump make sure you route the belts so that the pump rotates in the correct direction. You didn't state if you have bought the radiator yet or not, but they do make them with outlets on the driver's side. Good luck... Posted via Mobile Device

    It actually depends on the cam you use. If you use a cam with the 351 firing order you would not need to rewire the harness, but you would need to make sure the spark plug wires were routed correctly. Good luck.... Posted via Mobile Device

    Not sure what year your car is, but 225 is about as big as you'll get up front on a 64 to 66 with the stock suspension. If I had to do it over I would run a 16 inch wheel as there are much better performance tire selection in that size. Good luck... Posted via Mobile Device

    For the OP, first check and make sure that the engine, tranny, and exhaust are not touching the frame at all. I had a similar 3000rpm that turned out to be the tranny barely touching the cross member. It went from feeling like it was going to rattle apart to smoothe as silk. Good luck...
