    electric fan temp question

    first off i wouldnt trust the stock gauge at ALL... next where in the radiator do you have the heat sensor? near the input hose or near the engine return hose? theres going to be 2 totaly different temperature areas... you want the water going into the motor to be cool and consistant...

    have them fax or email you the spec sheet and just hand it to the guy... if he has no idea about suspension just tell him to adjust it to those specs... if he has any clue about aligning cars with CC plates then he should've known what to do...

    Plugging holes on Heads where Smog Pump Lines connected?

    yup the smog pump connects to those 2 holes of the heads along with a metal tube that connects them together. if you follow them thru the stock heads they will come out of a small bump in the exhaust port... which can be safely shaven down if you delete the smog pump and help out flow a little...

    I switched to 5w30 synthetic and my rear main started leaking like crazy... when I switched back to 10w40 it leaked still and now I'm screwed. synthetics always have had a reputation for leaks... and i got :owned:

    Bumper & Side Molding Paint ?

    painting it with a rattle can wont last very long.... the bumpers and side mouldings need to be painted with a spray gun and paint with an added flex agent to prevent cracking...

    89/90 Octane?

    unless you're running high compression or have your timing pumped up around 15+ then theres absolutely no need for high octane and in some cases you CAN have higher MPG with the correct octane gas.

    tranny help :(

    You sure its tranny fluid? If its an auto: you need to check/replace the front pump... If its a manual: check the front bearing retainer. If cracked replace with a steel unit, the aluminum's are prone to cracking. If its motor oil, replace yer rear main seal.

    for the love of god, dont forget to LUBE EVERYTHING!!! and before starting prime the oil pump with a drill motor on the distributor oil pump shaft... I took out all the rubber from my mounts and replaced with aluminum bushings and a grade 8 bolt thru everything... solid mounts are sweet...

    whats wrong with it being stamped with Borg/Warner? They made T5's for all the stangs... no ones tranny shifter hole is perfect... ford decided that since the auto trannies and manual trannies shifters were in 2 diff locations that it would be better to cut them out with a sawzall... mine...

    well that accusation could be correct... look at drag cars running at different altitudes and temperatures... they get totaly different times. if you trick the computer into thinking you're somewhere its not... you COULD come out with more power... 20hp on like a v12, but not a lil 2.3...

    I removed mine... I dont smell any gas fumes. Do cars modified with fuel cells have a fuel purge and charcoal cannister? No... Gas mileage? wtf. Do you realize the VERY SMALL AMMOUNT of gas that actually would escape from there? I replaced mine with a small pressure release valve located...

    even if it DID add more air... leaning out the air/fuel is NEVER a good idea... not to mention no matter WTF that thing did, as soon as it gets to the O2 sensor, its going to correct everything as the O2 sensor has the final say in everything...

    stinger is correct about the turbo cars having diff gears... they have the added hp and torque to run em... if you put a 3.27 in a NA 2.3 with an automatic... it prolly wouldnt even be able to get moving...

    I have stock 3.73

    I T5 swapped and had the 3.73's in the old 7.5" rear end.... 1st gear was pretty much useless for anything over 20mph... and in 5th gear I cruised 80mph at 3000 rpms... I swapped the 7.5" out for an 8.8" with 3.73's and I'm lookin to jump up to 4.10's soon after I do my 331 stroker swap.

    head bolts

    I put every extension I had together and a deep socket and took em off from under the car with a breakerbar... those things rusted shut and theres no way I couldve put enough force on em from thru the engine bay...

    Fuel Pressure Guage Questions?

    you just screw it onto the schraeder valve on your fuel rail and you're DONE. leave it on there and thats it.
