    I can understand preserving it as a museum piece and I guess if I had the cash to keep one in storage I'd have 2. One for beating and one for showing.

    There was a GM dealer near me wayyyy back that did that. Had at least one early IROC Z in wrapp and stored in a shipping container. Saw a GNX that was at a dealer and never sold since new. They had it sitting on their show room floor and had some miles (like a couple hundred) that was pretty cool.

    for 8 to 12 grand you could build a wicked turbo v6 using what you have in the car. Or better yet buy a GT.

    far easier for you to put another 5.0 or even a 351 than a mod motor.
