    wiring up a bap?

I would get a relay and wire it up as shown. If you don't have a consistent voltage to the BAP your fuel persure could change rapidly if the voltage falls off, a very bad thing. I have seen people wire it to the taillight for power(mine that way when I bought the car) everytime I would step on...

Glad you guys had a great time. I think this is one that will be on our calendar next year as well. It would be a great time to see some of the relatives too, maybe my grandmother would like to go. She will be 102 in March and lives only 15 minutes form the track.:canada:

    Interested in a 97-98 Cobra...

Way back in '96 when I had stock car I was able to get 26-28 on the hiway by keeping speed to a resonable 60-70mph. Even now with a KB, 4.10's and real big tires I can get 21-22 on the freeway. Worst I ever see in the city is 15.5 average as that is 95% of my driving now.

    superchargers and lightened flywheels?

I have a '96 with a KB and 10psi. I also have a lightened flywheel and never have a problem building boost. Full 10 psi by 3000 rpm and it does not drop off even with my little 1.5l.

    Will low voltage cause problems?

Don't know of any shops in that area. I would suggest you try the Southwest regional forum but it looks pretty slow in there so I am not sure what kind of replies you would get. Might take a look at some of the other forums out there to see if they have more activity for your region.

    SLP Loudmouth 1 question?

When they do an emissions check here in WA. on OBD II cars they simply plug into the OBD port and check for any errors. No check engine light no problem. I know it is different around the country but check your area first, never know what you can get away with until you read all the rules.:D...

    help,I lost my key!!

You can buy the chipped keys on ebay all day long for $9.95. I have two and they work great, for the 97 and newer you can get OEM Ford logoed keys for that price. Since you don't have a key to make a copy of you will be out quite a bit to have one cut for your car. Plus you will need to pay to...

    Will low voltage cause problems?

I know someone that recently had a problem with a lower quality alt. cause feed back into the system and giving off faulty check engine lights because of it. I would definatly go with a high end replacement it will be fewer problems in the end. Also could the noise be from failed bearings in you...

    xcal2 on an 01 cobra

I am sure that you could see some small gains by getting a custom tune for your car but the biggest benifit would be have a tune that allows you to make some adjustments to it. If your tuner can give you a tune that is "unlocked" then you could make some minor changes to fuel and timing...

A few pics from Pony Trails.

Had a good drive out there although much of the group got split up by traffic and construction. I was looking at the back of a Saturn Ion for much of the way.:bang: That was better then the way back where I only saw the front of my car in the rear view mirror of the tow truck.

    REAR END GEARS??

I would just count the drive shaft revolutions, but here is a great calculator that you can use. Plus it is also great to figure out differences in tire, trans and gears on rpm. http://www.svtoa-atlanta.org/cgi-bin/trans.cgi
