I last had a 2001 GT that I traded in 4 years ago. I traded to an SUV. I am now getting back into a Mustang. I drove the V6 and the GT. The V6 blew my old 'stang away. True that my '01 wasn't a previous Shelby or a terminator Cobra but I was not disappointed with the V6.
That being said, the V8...
I wasn't arguing with you or even of the opinion that it should be a paid upgrade. That's why I asked the question. If the upgrade process is that easy, I agree that it should be available for free. I'm sure it's just a matter of time.
Are you sure about HomeLink for the 2010? I could find it...
How is SYNC upgraded? If it's a user install I would expect you would be able to get it for free at some point. But would you be willing to pay for the upgrade if it's a dealer install? Almost like a navigation DVD upgrade or such?
I see it much like the other new standard options on the '12...
Man... I read stories about people quitting their jobs, cashing out their 401k to move and "spread the word about the end of the world". They budgeted their money so that they'd have enough to last until yesterday. Doh. Wonder what they're thinking today? :-P
Oh... Ok. I misunderstood your intent with the question. In that case, roll in 6th and downshift to 4 or 5 wherever appropriate. If 5th is too dogged, go to 4th. You'll get the hang of it and the feel for it shortly.
lokstag is right but so are you. You don't HAVE to put it in 6th, that's why you bought a manual so that ultimately you have control and can ride in any gear you want.
I don't own a v6 but I drove one when making up my mind. The reason that I went with the V8 was twofold.
1. I really wanted the 401A interior upgrade package that isn't offered in the v6.
2. And this is really the kicker, it was the allure of having the 5.0 on the side of my car. As a kid, I...
Agreed. I went to a dealer that claim to sell all cars at or below invoice. They priced it all up for me and the car was at invoice. Then they tacked on $1200 in two different "non-negotiable" dealer fees. DOH. So I went and joined MCA, got the xplan pin and ordered the car at a much better deal...
I can't speak to these exact parts but I put a similar set of these on my '01 many moons ago and loved them. They looked great and performed well in regular "spirited" city driving. I never tracked it and never intended to. I might think better of it if I were putting them through some serious...
Wow. That color car with that color wheel REALLY looks good.
Is there really such a thing as someone that would consider using wheels from a different edition of a car taboo? I mean, I understand emblems and such... but wheels?! :-p
He ended up stalling the car 12 times before leaving the dealer lot. He lemon lawed the car before leaving the lot because it must have been related to the MT82 issues and is now driving a Civic with an AT.
:D j/k.
