1966 Mustang Coupe With 302 Engine

You'll want to verify the proper Imbalance of the harmonic balancer. If that is truly a 72 motor and the didn't replace the crankshaft then it should be a 28oz imbalance. If they put a later model crank from the 80s or some aftermarket crank, it could be 50oz imbalance. The balancer needs to...

A Couple Questions About A 68 Gt Coupe??

I would suggest printing out a vin decoding list and see what your getting. People have been known to re-badge cars as a true GT would bring a higher price. Price would depend on whether its just a standard coupe and then the biggies are condition of the interior, engine, body and frame...

Looking For Ideas For My New Milling Machine

Although I could easily do what you are asking, I agree the shipping would be expensive. The trade school is a good idea and could probly get done for next to nothing. I don't know about the dremel idea. You would never get that surface square and flat like you would need for the adapter to seal...

Looking For Ideas For My New Milling Machine

Finally got to actually run a piece that I've modeled and programmed myself. This is a drilling template for the Shelby suspension mod on the 65/66 mustangs. For those like me who are anal about being precise instead of using a paper template. These will ensure your holes are exact. Now working...

    Vintage Air Install Help Needed.

Ok so it looks like the difference is the factory unit the heater core tubes don't protrude thru the firewall so the clamps are inside the passenger compartment which gives you a little more flexibility to bend the hoses. I dont recall my Vintage air protruding thru the firewall like yours is. I...

    Indicator Light Issue- 1965

I've seen blown bulbs do this. bad grounds also (which is more common). Are the blinkers themselves flashing? Turning brighter and staying bright when the lever is in position? Going dim when the lever is put in position? Not changing at all when the lever is put in position.

    Vintage Air Install Help Needed.

Those hoses where never routed very well from the factory. That kit should use the same hose holes as you factory heater unit used so it will be the same as the factory did it. they've always been kinda tough to route.

I see you are from Wittlich Germany? Is that near Bitburg? I was stationed at Ramstein Air Base near Kaiserslaughtern from 1992 - 1996. I love Germany and still have some friends there that I visit.

    Nu-relics Power Windows

I used this company for my 66 and there is plenty of clearance underneath the motor https://www.a1electric.com/Merchant2/merchant.mvc?Screen=PROD&Store_Code=AEOS&Product_Code=FD40-K I would think those you're looking at would mount about the same. Then I used this setup that uses my original...

    Re-flaring Brake Lines

Should be 3/16. Your clamp should fit tight enough to grip the line so it wont move when you go to flare it. A cheapo flaring kit will not hold good.

    Mixed Sunx & Untinted Glass

I would think that the ones already tinted would look like limousine tint (5%) if you add to it and maybe be a weird shade? I think you would see the difference. If it were me, I would remove the old stuff and do it all the same with 20%. Its worth doing it right. FYI though, 20% is not legal in...

    Camber Keeps Readjusting Itself...

Yep get it fixed as soon as possible. That's a very dangerous condition. You hit a dip in the road on a curve and you'll likely be in the ditch or opposing lane. You can get new upper and lower control arms complete with balljoints and bushings ready to bolt on.
