    You're really not going to like this after your shifter cable drama, but... On a fox there is no adjustment. The cables stretch and then the e-brake doesn't hold. The solution is to replace the cable.

    I would agree -- if there's no evidence of dry rot, the environment probably hasn't gotten to them. I have heard that if stored incorrectly tires will never balance right though. I think they are supposed to be stored in plastic bags in their side. :shrug:

    I don't think it unplugs from the mirror, but it will unplug from the car. They are designed the breakway I believe, so if you gently tug on the wires it should come loose. You will need to take the door panel off to plug them back in, so your choice if you want to do it now or later.

    You're going to tell me that I can pick any two days of the year and if you pick up 4hp you will know it has absolutely nothing to do with anything other than the output of the engine? You thing the correction factors are THAT good? That's a tough pill to swallow. :shrug:

    I don't think you will feel anything, but as I said before, I have seen dyno tests that showed similar results or just advancing the timing showing more power.

    AFAIK, you can leave the 'octane bar' in and just advantce the timing like you normally would. Just do it the same way we all do -- try a little, listen for pinging, try a little more, etc. Or you could probably just set it to about 14 degrees and leave it alone. I don't recall those little...

    I used to pass emissions with this cam in a Carb'd engine: Wolverine 1087 (289º 299º 222º 232º 0.510'' 0.534'' 112º) Every car will be different, as will each setup, that's why the whole setup is important (thus, the custom cam would be an excellent choice).

    That fuse should not be the cause of the problem. The potential fuses would more likely be #4 and #13, I believe.
