    If you have a donor car with wiring harness and a good diagram its not really not that hard to go EFI. I have the entire undercarriage ,drive line, fuel system, brakes, master cyl and booster,AOD ect sitting in my 4 eye. I had a complete 90 GT that was wrecked and swapped everything over.

    I'd check the hoses and clamps on the pump. It may just be a loose clamp and puddling up there.

    Radiator caps are cheap too. I usually replace the cap with a new stat.

    If it wasn't doing this before you swapped over to a carb. Try jacking up the drivers side front of the car, remove the radiator cap, and run it until the stat opens. It should help burp any air that may be caught in the system. You also didnt mention the condition of the radiator cap? They are...

    Do you have rubber or poly isolators? I've been told the polys dont compress as much as the rubber one? Maybe that would give the lift you need?

    Make sure its at operating temp and keep it running while you wait. gotta love those new fees! Wait until you getthe new reg fees and the NOVAfee tagged on that! Plus the extra $10 on a state inspection. I'm glad I'm exempt by age of the car but I feel your pain. Its a Dept of Env Quality...

    As above and also change the oil & air filter. Make sure it's been run and up to operating temp before testing.
