    does anyone know what the pitch and size of the shifter handles on our cars, most particularly the Hurst Billet/Plus and the stock ones.. I tried search and the hurst website- no luck.. thanks for any help

    one thing that never fails is when rotating your tires, always take a glimpse at them, that'll make sure you're on top of everything speciall when you have drum brake still, make sure the shoes and wheel cylinders are ok.. sorry got carries away.. :D

    and plus, not to say it of bad taste, but almost everybody has LX tails though, if my GT's look at least a tad better than it does ( I'm gonna try to paint it), I would keep it. I like LX tails, dont get me wrong..

    he's right! remember newer cars nowadays come with coil-on-plug ignition system compared to ours that's using a remote coil, so newer ignition system has higher voltage output and require the use of platinum for its higher resistance.. Just use stock style plugs... they work good :nice:

    you should be able to pry it out with a small screw driver, go around it slowly if you dont want to damage it, good luck!

    [/IMG] here's my other baby.. and like chepsk8 said, there's no such thing as a V6 64-73 mustang, not unless somebody put that thing in there.. and there's no shame in owning a coupe, I think they're nice, and plus you dont really have to be concerned about anything you put in it engine wise...

    What sensors will hurt mileage & not pull codes?

    well as an O2 sensor gets older, they tend switch slower and slower, thus affecting your fuel trim, sometimes it's not much to set of a code but enough to hurt milage. i replaced mine at 102,xxx im at 108xxx now, and wow! what a difference. try that. hope this helps! good luck

    I think in one way or another it does hurt your performance, I'd say loosen the nuts and make sure it's sitting flush with each other, then try it again..

    castrol degreaser or simple green. let them soak for a few minutes, they work like magic :)

    yup, check your belt, tensioner and their bearing, pullies and starter bolts, if you still get that noise pull out the starter and bench test it, see if its coming form there check ring gear too. Good luck!
