    yes you have the correct part, and it does seem to be your problem. I have changed them out before, not to hard. Shop around, im pretty sure you can find it cheaper than that. I think I bought mine at autozone but im not real sure what I paid for it.

    Svo brakes vs. sn-95 brakes

    I have a sn-95 rear that came with mustang svo rear brakes? Is there any advantages to running these instead of regular sn-95 brakes? Here is a pic of the svo brakes.

    Is it possible that you over torqued the rocker causing the valve to stay open? Does it feel like your down on a cylinder? Did you set base timing with the spout connector pulled?

    you could try to get a round 1" wire brush that you could attach to your drill, but be carefull not to let it brake off, blow out debris with compressed air and rinse before installing.

    As far as I know there is no kit available but the bodys between 86-93 were almost identical, maybe you can get a donor car and if your lucky the parts might bolt right up. Goodluck.

    The bell housing will not work. You will have to get from a t-5 v8 car. You will also need to get a different pilot bearing/bushing that will fit the 4cyl imput shaft. You can use a 4cyl trans behind a v8, however I do not recommend it...because unless you drive like my grandma your going to...

    BBK Long tube clearance problems

    I had the bbk lt's installed on my 93 gt. I had a clearance problem, but mine was with the passanger side header. It was lying on the k member. The driver side fit like a glove. I thought maybe my motor mounts were bad, and i was broke so I just shimmed them untill I could by new ones.

    I had a 93 4 cyl lx, that I traded off for a 02 f-150. I dont know what the hell I was thinking. It was probably the cleanest 4 banger on the net. It was CLEAN CLEAN CLEAN. It was in perfect condition, absolutly zero flaws. I think about that car almost every day. :bang:
