    Someone else posted that they used the aluminum driveshaft for manual transmissions on their automatic. To make it work, they simply used the original yokes. Do a search; I am sure that you will find the post.

    Congratulations on the 4.10s and the new times! How do the Nittos work with the 4.10s? I've heard that this combination can put a lot of stress on the rear end. Maybe it's more of a problem for those who dump the clutch with their manual transmissions.

    For my father's day present yesterday, I went driving around. I put 150 miles on my newly modded stang. What a blast. The car pulls strong from 3000-6000 rpms and then slowly returns when decelerating. Although an expensive mod, it was surely worth the expense.

    What is really weird about the dynos is that they seem to compare apples and oranges. The pre-mod dyno compares STD horsepower and torque with speed (mph) while the post-mod dyno compares SAE horsepower and torque with rpms. What's up with that?

    This means that I gained 15 rwhp with my induction mods (plus performance tune and underdrive pulleys) and 22 rwhp with the LT headers and o/r x-pipe. This seems reasonable to me. I still wonder why the baseline dyno was done in STD horsepower and the modified dyno in SAE horsepower.

    I'm also curious about the difference between STD and SAE. I noticed that the performance shop completed my baseline dyno with STD horsepower but my modified (headers) dyno with SAE horsepower. Are we comparing apples and oranges here? Does this mean that the headers did not really net me 23...
