    this is the 2.5 inch stainless steel exhaust for the 1969-1970 Mustang . The tips look just like these ones: "Mr. Horse. What do you think of this exhaust tip?" "No Sir. I don't like it!"

    Here is a pic of my gauge cluster with the electric autometers in it. Installation soon to follow Instead of LEDs for turn signals and high beam, I am thinking about fiber optic cables. We can make a loop (in the gauge, behind the gauge, anywhere really) like this.

    I am using a blue LED for the high-beam, green LEDs for the turn signals (but then I have these on the hood scoop anyway) and a red LED for the idiot light. Got everything from radio shack. These are threaded on the opposite side so you can fit them through the gauge cluster and affix them...

    The summit description for the sub-$300 stuff says that they have spherical bearings. That is what the spendy GW L11-Cat 5s have. Perhaps the summit product description is wrong. I hope so.

    I have the L11-cat 5 springs from GW and I paid about $900 for them. If you go to summit and select either the L11s or the L10s, these are indicated as having the spherical bearings. I am pretty perturbed at the price difference.

    I also used carbon fiber on the door panels. There is some dust on it but you will get the idea I went electric because I thought since I was starting fresh, electric was more accurate and reliable and the better way to go.

    I bought the Year One dash bezel. I have some Auto Meter Ultra-Lite electric gauges going in I covered the front with a carbon fiber veneer from dragon plate. The fit of the carbon fiber is much better than what the picture suggests. it just looks wavy because of how the light is reflecting...

    are 356 miles on a new 08 Mustang from a dealer a lot?

    I have a friend who just took delivery of a new 08. When he went to the dealer to get it, it had 356 miles on the odometer. I had 70 mile on my last new car when I got it from the dealer but 356 sounds like a lot. and thoughts?
