    You could always take it to san diego speedo/tach off of rosecrans and they can verify and or recalibrate your speedo to read correctly. It may be in the speedo head, if not they usually can tell you what gear to use if you know the amount of teeth on the drive gear. Ive never seen a car exact...

    Also the dyno you were on is a load bearing dyno. Giving a more "real world" style load.

    Yeah the car was pretty badass. It really amazed us. Plus I really love 4 eyes. If you get a chance try to make it out to Carlsbad for the race on the 28th. Were the heads also box stock?

    Does anybody make a Hydraulic Clutch Kit for a 5.0 GT?

    Actually im sure there are plenty of kits for a kit car. Pretty much every one ive worked on has a hydraulic clutch (including factory five ones) I know ive seen CNC ones on them before. Id check around on kit car sites. Not sure if you know this one www.FFCobra.com hope this helps

    Lifting the engine...

    Actually from the factory there was a "lifting eye" on both ends d/s front and pass rear. They typically get thrown away when people do headers. You could always buy/make a lifting plate that bolts to the lower intake

    Speed Density - why change ?

    Mass air meter senses the amount of air coming in, instead of relying on the map sensor . Typically people change over to mass air when they want to do a cam change because sometimes speed density doesnt react well to cam changes. Technically your car will no longer be "smog legal" visually...

    Yes it will work on those year cars and earlier with m/a conversion. I think I actually talked to you about a spare t-5 you had and a conversion you had. I will get back to you tomorrow on it if you still have them. Let me know. Shawn

    YES an 8ld is a mass air computer . Actually if you look at the tag where the 8ld is you will see MA-SFI = Mass Air Sequential Fuel Injection

    Yes it typically happens when you run octane booster (the reddish color)

    M&M K-Memeber question

    Yes the k member has postions to do both stock and 1 inch back. You will have to shorten the driveshaft when doing the inch setback and possibly do some exhaust mods (some cars do some dont).
