    doesnt sound bad but if ur talking bout ur 68 as long as u have 3 bolt upper control arms (ball joint) u can run 5"backspacing and will tuck ur wheels under the car better im usung a .700 spacer with 5.72 spacing wheels fits like a glove:)

    spacers safety???

    some people would frown on what id did but it works well for over 20k hard miles i have a piece of .700 steel machined and pressed on my rotor with moroso 3" studs (which fit snugly in the holes of the spacer too) and the work extremlly well Alose if u have the 3 bolt ball joint upper...

    ud be better off finding a stock harness that will plug into ur car that harness is more designed for street rods ud have to take out alot and redo some of the 4cyl stuff that way
