    Oh, too add to this thread in a constructive manner, I would go with the running pony.. it's the classic mustang emblem. Yes you have a V6, just don't advertise it.. Or add emblems that make it seem like it has more power.. :)

    Pioneer head unit in Mach 1000

    Pioneer head unit in Mach 1000

    You need a voltage regulator. The Pioneer puts out 12 volts to the amps, but the Shaker 1000 only needs 5 volts.. I installed the Pioneer AVIC-D3 in my car, with Shaker 1000, and do not have any popping. They are available at Radio Shack. For more info, see my AVIC-D3 write-up...

    Meh.. gas will be $5 a gallon at the rate it's climbing.. :notnice: To even be appealing, the 5'oh would have to get at least 25mpg.. :nice: I have to get gas tomorrow... $4/gal. here for premium.. even at Costco. :(

    New here and new to 98 GT. Hood Scoop dilema

    Do you hate it based on looks, or because it is non-functional? When they first came out with the scoops on 05+ Mustangs it took me a while to get used to them. Now, I see them and immediately know it's a GT and not a V6.. Maybe leave it on and see if it grows on you..? :)

    The AVIC-D3 is installed!! Lots of pictures!

    No, the orange/white wire from the factory in-dash harness does not work for dimming the AVIC. Looking back, I would put a on the dimmer wire.. there are some days when it's overcast and I need the headlights on, but the AVIC dims too much to be seen.

    08 Mustang- Is a Bullitt worth it?

    :bs: Uhh.. my car is not "harsh" by any means.. It's a vast improvement over my '04 GT.. I would not call the SGT's ride "luxury," but man it handles great! :nice:

    It depends on whether or not you want a car that is unique and is already modified.. I like the Shelby because it's ready-to-go.. I like having ONE payment come out of my checking account every month for a pre-modded car, compared to having a payment on a GT, plus ordering mods all the time...
