    Traction? Absolutely! Hopefully you have a hardened input shaft, i broke mine due to entering OD at the strip. Im not even making serious HP either....good luck on your build mobilly

    I run a Lentech. Do you have lockout for OD? You might get some burn off the line since the power band will sit lower than an fcam

    Good deal! I made mine really early as well! Just complicated things by having a child and dealing with a crazy ex but im in a lot better place now to correct things!

    Its a mixed bag, the reviews for that cam ...people have good and bad results with it according to what i read. I think you mentioned comp cams recommended it to you? Then i would counter them with why, based on what i had in my combo. Since its comparable to the ecam, in your words...

    If i knew what I know now, I would have gotten something different. I was young and someone was selling the fcam in my area so I picked it up. I do like the sound, has a nice lope to it. That cam is pretty pricey I dont remember these costing that much! Think I paid 100 for mine

    :welcome:to :SN::banana: Thank you for the obligatory pics and nice opening post....so 30 years huh? Cant see much detail but if its been sitting outside im sure a lot of it has deteriorated. I dont have a hand in restoring old cars so ill let someone with more knowledge chime in.

    I hesitate to recommend anything besides oem, ford parts. Used to be anything motorcraft, but who knows what you are getting these days....unless you are going with some crazy combo, i think motorcraft, autolite...someone elses opinion may differ. Accel used to make good wires
