    Most of those mods are straight-forward, but I suspect you'll run into issues yanking the crank pulley, and installing the PI manifold; the Hanes or Chilton manual could definitely come in handy. A torque wrench is a major plus too. :nice:

    If you removed the factory cats, you'd see some HP increase despite the 2.25 pipe diameter; your still removing a restriction. Better options: 1.) Buy a off-road X/H pipe, and gut the bad cat out of your stock H. That way, you still have a pipe to pass smog with. 2.) Look in the classifieds...

    Why do you hate the idea of a repaint? Repaint > touchup paint. I had my hood repainted under warranty - paint was faking off in the front. Get Ford to do it right. :nice:

    Redline Line Water Wetter

    I've used Water Wetter in all of my Mustang's, but I can't say I noticed a significant reduction in temp. I'd like to believe it helps some, but better cooling system mod are obvious: larger radiator, lower the fan turn-on temps, cooler t-stat, etc.

    I'm kind of weary when it comes to buying other people's broken parts. Your always going to hear "Oh it's an easy fix." If so, then why doesn't he have it fixed and sell if for $250? Maybe it is a good deal, but be careful about it.

    Strength of the rear axles. The more power & gear you added to your car, the more abuse the splines take. Your very unlikely to have any issues on street tires, but if you decide to slap on drag radials, that's when the real carnage begins.

    If your going to spend the money on a gear change, go with at least 4.10, but on a 5spd I'd even push 4.30 on the 32v. Going with something like 3.73 is a waste, unless the labor is free or your getting a ridiculous deal. Sure it's great to upgrade to 31 splines, but it's not madatory...

    I guess I was being too discreet. In my accident, the passenger headlight few out. The drivers headlight seemed okay, so I made it not-okay via hammer. The result? Matching 01+ headlights Vs. 1 new regular 99-00' clear headlight.

    Oh - are you sure you didn't damage your headlights? I know when I smacked my front bumper, the headlights were badly damaged. ;) 01'+ Tinted headlights = :banana:

    Nice. :nice: If I were home, I'd post up my carnage pics too. Funny, but heart breaking at the same time. Hope it gets fixed soon! I recommend Cobra bumpers btw. That's what I got when I smashed my Gt, and I loved it. :)

    No problem.. it wouldn't have been a big mistake, so don't worry about it. Either way, it's not hard to make it work. My Accufab plenum on my Gt didn't even come with a PCV fitting :mad:. Had to make a run to the store to make it work, but in the end it was fine. I'm just trying to save you...

    There not exactly the same. The hoses that connect to the back of the plenum changed in size from 00' to 04', so the fittings on the plenum are different. You can make it work, but unless the savings is significant I recommend going with the model specific to your stang.

    Does the car do this at all times, like right after startup? I had the issue, and IAC was the fix.

    Yes that's right. The Gt's IAC uses a hose to connect to the intake tube; the Mach 1 IAC connects strictly to the manifold.

    Cleaning the IAC

    The solenoid is the metal barrel where the electric connector is plugged in.. to avoid getting cleaner in there, hold the IAC upside down when spraying.
