    dry looking door handle

    Careful if you're going to use the rivet gun to replace the door handles. That thing can kick like a mule. Protect the surrounding and have someone hold the handle in place while you crank on the rivet gun. No way you can do this yourself and get them perfectly straight. Been there done that.

    Tire question

    275/50/17 on a 9 inch rim here and no rubbing. Then again, I don't run quads. However I wouldn't go so wide in the front. The 245 will definitely rub on 90 fenderwells.

    255lph at least, maybe even an inline pump to be safe. As for the injectors you can get away with 30lb'ers if you're going to be running an FMU. Many on here will tell you to forget the FMU and go bigger injectors with a custom tune.

    You want reliable and great gas mileage? Nothing beats an older jetta diesel (not sure on newer mexican made stuff). The engine will run forever and gives superb gas mileage. I've had hondas, acuras, jettas in the family. Hands down the jetta for low maintenance costs and overall reliability...

    Stock 5.0 intakes...

    Ported "a little" as in "I took a dremel to it"? Was it done professionally? If so it might be worth the 30 minute drive, especially if it's free. Hell I drive 45 minutes to work. I run a ported stock upper and lower. I'm looking to get it on a dyno soon and will post results.

    How about taking a roller and some house paint to it as we did with my friend's plymouth horizon? Turned out a lot better than the ugly copper/rust colour it had. Apparently that was the colour from factory. Oh and we painted it black.
