    why doesn't anyone make a dash pod like that for 67-68? the wires could run thru the pad via the speaker holes. I am replacing the guages in the cluster and have a two-guage bracket under the dash, but I don't like looking down to check them, I prefer guages to be closer to my line of sight.

    Wasn't the T-5 that odd-looking two-seater prototype that was a sort of stepping-stone to the mustang? I remember reading that the reason they ditched the IRS was that by removing that a standard rear performed better due to a mix of the lighter rearend and the heavy rear window on the fastback.

    someone mentioned that those heads weren't enough. what would necessitate the jump from 165cc to 185cc? my goal motor is a 5.0. probably carb to start, but EFI in the long run.

    seems to me like most people in favor of the newer lockers vs LSD make a comment about having to be careful in turns and "you get used to it". I like to carve corners. I don't want to be careful! but it sounds like everyone is crapping on LSDs so what would you recommend? ...thx
