Do you carry a toolbox in your Fox? If so, what's in it?

I don't carry too much spare TFI, tool and grease leatherman flashlight TP gauge I did score a new aluminum spare I'll bring a few xtras if it's long trip but other than that I'll just get towed if needed.

I got the '93R( not the steeda got that from ozz) for a great deal awhile back it's hard to get and goes for over $200 now. The yellow feature and dark horse I got for good prices also. I'm glad I picked up both of the twisters, the red one is the hardest color to find and probally will cost...

    quad shock questions

Like already stated the quad shocks are there to control wheel hop and to absorb the swisting action of the axle housing. quads came in full production on '85 and up stangs and started showing up on the '84 SVO and some early '84 mustangs. Pre quad days Ford used a traction bar type set up to...

help me pick a shifter...with options!

I agree about preference. This shifter debate has been hammered out for so long it's boring. IMHO you can't go wrong with the pro5.0., tri axe or the mgw. they are all well made quality shifters and you can feel satisified that you spent your money well. I always recommend the MGW because I have...

What did you do for your Fox today?

I also have the mgw ( see pics in above post ) I don't know if I would say the set back is all that much but like gearbanger stated you can angle the handle. at one time they had more handles now they have the orange and shorter silver. still one of the best shifting shifters out there IMHO...

my cart at jegs! should I checkout?

Def go with the maximum motorsport cable and quad kit. highly rated quad and I like mine. when I had my gear swap done I also went with the Ford racing M-4210-C install kit, comes with everything to basically rebuild the rearend. axle seals and bearing, diff and carrier bearings, etc. might...

    Aftermarket Steering Wheels

Dallas steering wheel does great work. I had them do a wheel for me for another vehicle a few years back and it looked like factory. i'm going to have them do my spare wheel for my fox at some point. great company to deal with also.

need help with gas milage...!!! help

find out what it has for rear gears and you don't mention if it is stock, mild mods or what it has. A filthy air filter will hurt but also a many things will factor in. 1st run a KOEO test and see if you have any codes stored and address those, check for vacuum leaks and give it a good tune up...

What did you do for your Fox today?

I like the old school radio Mike very cool. That is the shifter knob i just changed. I liked it but wanted a change, I held onto it so I can go back and forth if I want. The Mach is the 1st ball type shifter handle I have used and the shifts feel quicker, you can get your hand on it better than...

What did you do for your Fox today?

I was having a hard start when the motor was warm, found resistance in the main starter cable. decided to redo all the cables, and clean up some of the other wires also. also changed the shifter knob to the mach one, wanted a change so i'll run this for awhile. feels good with my mgw.

anyone have dealings with Detroit Wheel and Tire?

I used them and I had no problems. I bought a set of rims/tires to use for the winter on my explorer so I didn't wreck my new chrome wheels. They where fine to deal with, nice factory wheels with tpms sensors still on them, I was nervous since this wasn't cheap $$ but it worked out.

How do you guys decide where to buy parts from?

I deal with jegs for alot of stuff and they have always done right by me. I also read reviews and also see if someone had a problem and how they where treated, etc. I take some stuff with a grain of salt but you will some trends of poor service and people have the same type of problem..mustangs...
