    New dash for '93 coupe

Mike is right. If you are concerned about color matching, the 93 red is also a darker red than the earlier colors. The only color that is the same, or at least almost the same, is black.

Cobra R's from a 1985 lx to my 1990 Lx?

If they are 4 lugs, which I assume since you are talking about changing, then they will fit on any 79-93 Mustang with 4 lugs. The 79-86 cars have the same front brakes & spindles as all of the 87-93 4 cyl cars. It seems like some of the vendors just put a generic "87-93" on their parts...

    Interior swap issues.

One thing, on the LX hatch, you will have to weld up several holes and drill a few new ones to mount a GT spoiler. But if the price is right, a bit of work is not too bad.

94-04 sturts on FOX stang 1993....

84t-top is right. They are longer. But if you have SN95 spindles and your car is not lowered much at all, you can use them. SN95 spindles have a lower mounting point, thus the longer struts. I have Bullitt struts with my spindles and don't really have a bottoming out problem. Some guys have...

    Interior swap issues.

It will all fit. I have a 90 interior in my 87. But you will have to do some mods. The plastic quarter panels will need new holes drilled for the seat belt bolts on the B pillar, they are higher on the 90-93 cars. If you get the seatbelts, they have a different mounting tab so you will have...

    fox drum to disc ?

Then here is the bracket mod thread if you want to go that route: Brake guys, critique this: ranger axles on rear disk swap, w/modified SN brackets - Corral Forums The custom brackets can be bought from North Racecars Cobra Replica and Mustang Parts Connection for about $150 or from my...

    1989 Mustang Hatch Headliner Padding?

Mine did the same to my new black carpet!! I replaced it with the insulation from my black interior donar car. Anyway, there was a guy that used the press on foil backed foam insulation on his car that he got from Lowes or Home Depot. It was cheaper than the Dynomat and seemed to work fairly...

    fox drum to disc ?

Mike is correct, (as usual!) The axles and rear end housing on the 03 are too wide for your Fox 8.8 rear end. The 94-98 axles are longer than the Fox axles, but will work with the disc calipers and brackets just like on the 94-98 cars on your rear end. Read 87-93 Mustang 5.0 Brake upgrade...

Good source of finding comps prices for 1988 Mustang GT

I'd look for used parts for sure. Afterall, it IS a used car, not a 2 yr old one that I would want new OEM parts on. And much of the time a used part will be a genuine Ford part that is better than aftermarket. Take that quote and look up the main parts on Car-Part.com--Used Auto Parts Market...

    explorer rear end swap

From what I recall, the suspension mounting points are not the same at all. Isn't the older Exploder a leaf style, then they went to an independent style several years ago. The only direct drop in fits are a 86-98 Mustang, 87-88 Turbocoupe (needs quad shock mods), 86-92 Mark VII (housing...

    Seat pigtail question

LOL! As much as my wiring picture above has been used, I should have at least made it a bit cleaner looking of an install! I used the round bullet connectors on the seat side, and spade connectors on the harness side, all left over from other wiring jobs (including the wire!). Still works great.

    91-93 Seatbelts...Need help.

The problem is the SN95 rear belts are mounted on the actual metal quarter panels, not on the rear shelf or the wheel wells like the Fox cars. I was looking into trying to put them in my car, but it would require welding mounting points to the sides of the car. As for the fronts, I think...

Cool Kill Switch Idea I Learned from a Cop Video

That hidden magnet switch is a good idea! I might do that instead of carrying my fuel pump relay with me everywhere.

Removing the doors and harness Q,s

I haven't changed my doors, but I have installed the power harness and I would NOT remove the rubber boot from the dash side again unless the dash is removed. It was a royal PITA trying to get the rubber boot to snap in place and seal with the limited room under the dash to pull it in place...

sn95 condensor in a fox conv

I put in a 94 condenser in my car last year, but haven't been able to really test it since we had a hard to find leak that I still haven't found. Hopefully I'll get it running this week. But I did have to cut out the radiator core support some to make it fit in the same area as the stocker...

'87 GT Grinds going into 2nd gear only...

FWIW, my 2nd gear did the same thing years ago at about 65,000 miles. I drove it for about 3 weeks skipping 2nd gear before something internal broke loose and trashed the whole tranny. I ended up getting a new Ford Motorsports tranny. No telling how long you can drive it, but the sooner you...

help with rear 5 lug axle options

I know the Aerostars I got my axles from both had 10" drums, so as far as the axles are concerned, there should not be a difference between 9" and 10" drums. Now if you want to use the 10" drum brakes, you will need to get all the parts like Mike said.

Cobra Front Brakes with rear drum viability?

The only issue I can see with swapping out the MC & PV is the potential lack of residual pressure for the drum brakes. They can release due to the spring tension and will not engage enough to be useful if they don't have the residual pressure preloading them. That said, I put in my 94 MC in...

Fatal Crash in 1979 Pace Car

I remember seeing something about websites that you can set up to notify your online friends about your death. They work by having you log in every week or month to reset the clock. If you don't log in after a certain period of time, then emails etc. go out on your behalf. I wonder if they...

    Rear Axle

You would have to use 05+ wheels to make it work right, and then use a spacer on the front or get a different backspacing (SN95 wheels) on the fronts. Another thing, the lower control arm bolts are a different size. Ford changed from 12mm to 14mm in 99. If you use the earlier LCAs, you will...
