How To: sn95 seats (04 cobra) in a fox coupe (MANY pics)

Also, his car is a coupe, and they all had one piece seat backs. Most every one else has installed them in hatch cars that have the split seats originally. On coupes, the most "factory" looking way is to recover the coupe seat back to match the rest of the seats.

oh boy, I'm thinking 5 lug conversion

found a couple of pairs in Orlando for $49 each side, and a pair in Lakeland for $35 each side. Good prices IMO. I bought about 8 or 10 sets for like $60 to 80 a set & sold them on ebay for like $150-190 a set. That financed my 5 lug conversion! Good luck!

oh boy, I'm thinking 5 lug conversion

the V6, Gt and Cobra spindles are all the same. Look on Car-Part.com--Used Auto Parts Market and maybe you can find some close by, and some of the places even ship parts, so that is another option.

oh boy, I'm thinking 5 lug conversion

The 94-98 calipers & rotors are the same, no diiference there. The 99-04 are the better calipers to use if not going with the Cobra brakes. They just require slight grinding of the spindle to fit the 94-95s. And no, you can't really use the Lincoln rotors and run Bullitts properly. You...

Cheap 5 lug Fox front Q's

Ranger rotors work on 4 cyl spindles or pre 87 cars. The conversion kit is the SVO/ Mark VII rotors for the 87-93 V8 spindles, which work, but keep you from running most of the 96+ stock 17" Mustang wheels with the recessed center caps and exposed lugs. If the Weld center cap is the same as...

oh boy, I'm thinking 5 lug conversion

That is exactly what I want. A guy I know had some 17x10.5 dd Bullitts narrowed to about 9.5" and ran them on his 93GT. It looked great. As for the width differences, it is not too bad, but it might bother some people.

oh boy, I'm thinking 5 lug conversion

Most of this is covered in the brake threads, but here are quick answers. 1) You can run 94-95 tri bars, 95 Cobra Rs and most all of the 16" Mustang wheels that are not concave in the center cap area. 2)Yes. Ranger axles work for every stock Mustang 5 lug wheel 94-04. 3) 94-95 are...

    05 to Current Front Brakes

No, I grabbed them for someone else. They didn't care about the differences between the 94-95 and the later ones. I have 95 spindles. It was a good deal for everything, lines included, as 94-95 spindles many ties run about $150 a pair by themselves

    05 to Current Front Brakes

I got mine years ago for under $200 from Diversified Marketing, I think they are the same as New Take Off. Best bet is look at local yards on Car-Part.com--Used Auto Parts Market for some. If no place local has them, many of the yards will ship. I got a complete setup from a 2000 model...

    05 to Current Front Brakes

Not a bolt on fit. It requires mods to the spindle and is not worth it IMO. MM&FF put GT500 brakes on their Fox 500 projuct, and they had to weld & drill and work on it to mount the brakes up. If you don't want Cobras, just get some 99-04 calipers.

why do you drive a fox?

I can't afford anything newer!!! Not having a car payment for 17 years is great. Really, it is a very affordable car for me, not to mention it is a Mustang. Like $500 a year for repairs & maintenance, including tires and such, since I can do almost everything myself. It is easy to work on...

Any one work at Verizon Wireless????!!!!

I've had Verizon since they were GTE Mobilenet years ago and they have always taken care of me, even if it was my "fault" like when my daughter used 400 text messages of her 500 in one week. We changed texting plans and they prorated the plan, charging me extra for 275 messages over the 125 pro...

    Aerostar al driveshaft ?

Our Pick a Part yards have MANY of them. When I got my 5 lug axles, I had the choice of about 10 to pull my axles from. But we don't have many 4WD ones down south, and the ones I've seen, the shafts were bent from being forklifted.

    Aerostar al driveshaft ?

according to Car-Part.com--Used Auto Parts Market there are only 2wd and 4wd driveshafts, so the AWD and 4wd should be the same thing. But measuring it would be the best bet. Just make sure it is straight.

    3G Alternator

Many of the Ford V6 ones, Mustang, Tbird, etc. Look the 95 alternator up on Car-Part.com--Used Auto Parts Market and it will show you a lot of ones that will work.

    GT Moldings on LX?

They will fit, but you can't mix and match them and have it look good as they have different width indentations. The GT is wider than the LX.

    Tinting sunroof glass?

I put some extra tint on a guy's sunroof in his Mazda truck like 23 years ago. Actually I installed the sunroof too, it was my first "major" no turning back mod, and I did it to a brand new truck! He smoked, and he wanted it open to draw out the smoke, but didn't like the amount of sun...

    Rear End installation strategy??

For sure locate the uppers first. I did it my first time attaching the lowers first, thinking it would be easy to roll the rear and attach the uppers, not a chance! I fought with that one for a while to get the bolts through the upper housing end. One would fit, but the other was off. @#$%...

    Ford Racing Brake Kit

You should be. The kit uses 94-95 spindles that aare not as wide as the later ones. As long as you use the 94-95 spindles, 9" wide wheels work OK.

How To: sn95 seats (04 cobra) in a fox coupe (MANY pics)

No one that I know of has put the vert seats in a hatch car. Most likely to have it look good you would need an upholstry shop to make you two covers for the fold down part of the Fox hatch seats using the vert material plus some new material. Unless you know someone, my guess is that would be...
