    By "functional", I'm sure all that was implied was "louvered" (right, H Stang?). I can say that the louvered ones do restrict viz, but not prohibitively so (at least, the Roush ones don't).

    Replacing the mid-pipe definately DOES wake it up. I went with the Magnaflow hi-flo cat's xpipe and the car can finally set off the alarms of cars parked too closely/in confined parking areas, just like my 2002 Gt did!

    Do you drive it hard - mostly in town? At 16 gals. that's about 14 miles a gallon, which isn't great, but not way off, especially if (like me) you like to put the foot down when that light turns green. I do about 50/50 town/freeway and my mpg is currently reading 17.9.
