    Just put a 4" cowl hood on the 85 GT.....just purchased a Moroso hood pin kit (steel).....where do you install the pins at on the radiator support? Anyone have pics of their fox with hoodpin location?

    I just purchased a Hurst billet plus shifter for my 85 GT.It has the short black handle...installed it ..works great..went to Summit Racing and bought a Hurst white shifter ball for it...now...the ball will thread down on the handle, but the locking nut that came with it will not even start to...

    Ok guys, I'll try backing the stops back a turn or so..also, on the hurst, the stick is mounted on the passenger side of the shifter..I would think unbolting it and moving it to the drivers side would improve the feel and reach (with the stubby handle).

    Just purchased a used hurst billet-plus shifter via internet, It is for my 85 GT. When I first put it in, it grinded almost every shift to 3rd and 4th. After driving for about 20 minutes it seems to be shifting well in all but 4th. It grinds almost everytime shifting into 4th . I had no grinding...

    having owned a 76 mach1 w/ 302 as a first mustang, i appreciate seeing a nice restored ll if for nothing but nostalgic reasons. however, the ll styling, in my opinion has no place on a 2005 model. the monsterous side stripes and 76 hood scoop would have to go. i like the shelby style stripes...
