    tire sizes

    315/35 is the biggest in rear(at least a 10" rim) and I wouldn go bigger than 285/40s in the front (at least a 9" rim) thats with stock ride height and suspension set :spot:

    newbie to the 4.6L

    First off...the heads on the 96s to 98s arent that great..your best bet would be to get the "PI" heads off a 99 an up or aftermarket. Just upgrading the heads can net you 40 to 50 hp(seen the dyno results of the PI heads on older car) all the basic boltons do pretty much what you would expect...

    there is no need to reprogram anything...you dont need to worry about the fuel injectors unless your go with a different mass air flow sensor that is calibrated for larger injectors..

    If you have nothin but basic bolt ons..the intake plenum and throttle body will only give you about 5 to 10hp ..different heads or adding boost is where you see the most gains from that upgrade. :spot:

    Programming for 01 auto GT

    Does anyone have opinions on the Diablosport tuner? From what I hear the superchips tuner has a generic program. The hypertech by itself will not run a diagnostics check...so I was thinkin this might be the best choice. :spot:

    Tranny Temp Gauge

    Jegs has a "T" block you can put in the factory tranny cooler line in which you can install the sender...as far as I know this is the easiest way to do it. Memory serving me correctly I believe it will run you about...36 to 40 bucks. Hope this helps. :spot:
