    No, I'm saying I don't think it has any effect. Higher gears should help keep you out of that bucking rpm range though. If you rode in my car at around 30mph you could get whiplash:D

    I have an aluminum driveshaft, bucking is still a PITA. I'm still running 3.27's though... I hope to go 3.73 or higher soon. I bet higher gears will help a bit.

    Sounds like a problem that I had on my stock from the factory heads. I was missing an oilflow on one of the cam risers.
