    Hmm, what if a car was repainted? Do they usually put clear coat on the cars? My 2nd 5.0 has been re-painted and i want to buff the paint but dont know if it's had clear or not, is there anyway to tell? For what its worth its metallic.

    have you checked your coolant? Turn your heat on while you fill it up. Thats the way i do it. I dont have heat worth a damn anyhow, but its because my duct work is all screwed up, im fixing that as we speak.

So, why dont you just find you a car thats emissions exempt for your state, isn't like a car that older than 25 years or something...
