    Also, go to at least 4 different places. State farm wanted 3000 for 6 months, state farm wanted 2700, and I recently checked progressive - 2400 for 6 months. Last year I paid like 900 when it got insured as a pleasure only vehicle.

    I never thought of that, very good point. I was about to say the chip was a much better deal. You could always get a two-tune flip chip burned. One setting for colder months and one for warmer months. This would be able to adjust much more than a T/A, but is also much more expensive. :shrug...
