05 mustang Gt 4.6L motor build

2004 GT would have a 2 valve in it, not the same engine. I believe the block is the same but everything else will be different (timing cover, timing components, heads etc), and also those have an iron block as opposed to an aluminum one in the '05. I don't even know if everything would bolt up...

    Trunk Emblems

Far as I know you can only get decals or overlays for that emblem, but you should be able to find something on ebay at the very least.

    Long headers

Yeah, just buy a catted midpipe for whatever headers you're buying. You could add cats to an off road midpipe but you'd have to do that yourself, most shops wouldn't, but I don't think it'd be overly difficult.

    05 Mustang Body issues

I think the only difference for the pony package was a different grille with fog lights, and some decals, so you should be good to use parts from one.

    06 GT or 01 Cobra?

The '06 is worth it for the upgraded platform and interior, IMO. Power is pretty similar between the two anyway.

    2010 Mustang GT factory HID?

They look like OEM's to me.

Mustang gt 2007, car wont start after uploading custom tune

Possibly, tune might be incompatible with the device or something, I don't really know.

07 GTCS - check engine light

Most likely that isn't going to do anything.

Mustang gt 2007, car wont start after uploading custom tune

When it failed did you try reloading the tune? Honestly I'm not really sure what the issue would be...could be due to the battery being disconnected, I don't know. I had issues with tunes not loading correctly the first time I tried, but after a second try everything was good.

    Help please

Hey I just saw this, was on vacation this week. First off the 2.3 Lima is a non-interference engine so you don't have to worry about that. Does your book have any mention about how to line up the timing marks? This might help...

07 GTCS - check engine light

Well either find a used takeoff H pipe, or buy an aftermarket catted midpipe of some sort. Just be aware an aftermarket one with high flow cats will be louder. Those are about your only options, also many shops won't do anything except replace factory with factory because it's technically...

    Long tube Exhaust setup

Kooks are 304 stainless, BBK are chrome or ceramic coated mild steel. Meaning the BBK's will rust out eventually. If you don't mind spending the money on Kooks, get them, I've heard good things. If you're on a budget get the BBK's or possibly look at other brands. JBA has 409 stainless and 304...

08 Mustang Gt Premium - what to go with for spring/strut/shocks

BMR's linear rate springs are nice, I have them on my car. They ride way better than the progressive Ford Racing ones I had on it originally.

    Fair price to drop

I'm lowered 1.5" and never did any camber bolts or any of that stuff. I do have shocks, struts, strut mounts and adjustable panhard, and cut down the factory bump stops. I've also had multiple people tell me a strut tower brace really isn't necessary on an S197, I dunno.

Dashboard lights or gauges not working

Did it sit indoors or outdoors? Hate to say it but it sounds like it could be a smart junction box issue.

    Fair price to drop

So lowering, or lowering AND upgrading the entire suspension? You don't need all that just to lower it a bit.

Can someone tell me what camshafts are this?

According to what I can find on google, yes- they are the XFI NSR Stage II.

    cat studs

I've heard they are press in, and I've also heard people just replace them with stainless bolts. I don't know for sure if you can get replacement studs or not. FWIW, if you get rid of the factory locking nuts and just use regular nuts, and double-nut it, you won't have that problem again. The...
