    I just had an idea. Could the 3rd to OD shift be altered so that the trans. won't under any circumstances shift into OD until lets say 47 to 50mph? This would almost completely get rid of my clunk.

    About the same maybe a little better but the aluminum d/s I had (FRPP) was loud it whistled at certian rpms. and drove me nuts. The new c/f d/s does it to but not nearly as loud and at different rpms. :shrug:

    I replaced my aluminum D/S with a carbon fiber unit from P.S.T and left the aluminum one at the performance shop I'll call and see if they still have it if so it's yours just pay shipping.

    If I remember right the fogs are 893's but don't buy them they are defective sylvania is working on fixing them. ( they burn out very fast )

    New shocks/struts Bilstein,Koni,Tokico. Sounds like the Tokico 5 way adjustable's would suit you well. I have Bilstein but they are stiff so if you like stiff the Bilstein are a good choice, all are far superior to stock.

    I have them because I had to replace my stock ones (mechanic error) and figured I'd go to stronger better ones that are cheaper than oem, they haven't seen the track but are supposed to be stronger than stock :shrug:

    Yes check out www.pstds.com I think mine was about 8/900 bucks installed definitely overkill but it cant hurt anyway the aluminum one's are just fine.

    HA HA HA Thats funny mine did the same thing @ certain rpm's it sounded like a tea pot. I now have a carbon fiber D/S it whistles also but 50% quieter and @ different rpms, :shrug:

    I had an aluminum D/S and it clunked now I have a carbon fiber D/S and it clunks as well :shrug: I don't think the clunk is the D/S itself unless it's the linkage ie u joints, yolk? Someone has to know definitively!!

    I know what you mean, this has been discussed for years with no answer as to what causes it or how to remedy. THERE MUST BE AN ANSWER!

    I think we all have it. I wish someone would come up with a fix seems like a good business opportunity for someone / company :shrug:
