My car does the same as well. It's a small miss, nothing to worry about. Could be the sign of a coil getting tired but as long as it's not doing it under load or while you're just cruising it's more of an annoyance than anything.
I wonder why the idle was set at 650 with the BAMA tune though...
Are you planning on a wet or dry kit? Nozzle, plate, direct port? How big of a shot are you looking to run? How do you plan on tuning the car?
A bigger throttle body won't make a big difference with the nitrous. In theory, you want velocity for the nitrous mixture and if you're engine is...
They won't prevent you from doing it as long as you have the right parts.
I agree with evolucion though, it'd be much more simple to stick with Windsor heads and there are zero gains swapping to Romeos.
It's a rare intake. I've heard it does pretty well when you pair it with heads and cams. However, on a stock (I'm assuming here) non-PI engine, you won't gain much. More gains would be seen with PI cams, full exhaust, etc.
Yeah, I'd love coilovers up front to be able to make it sit like a 4x4 or almost hit the ground, haha.
Torque should be same as stock, about 90-95ft lbs if I recall. A little more won't hurt.
Cam gears are pressed on for Windsors and bolt on for Romeos. Romeo engines also use a different timing cover and the cams are held in differently on each head.
Thanks.
I'm using Roush springs. I'd say about 1.25 up front and about 1.5 in the back, but I'm also running adjustable lower control arms. Not a big drop. Those springs were intended to keep the Roush body parts from scraping the ground. They offer good handling but not a huge drop.
The...
Hi there...:D

I definitely prefer Anthracite on a white GT. Next choice is chrome. I don't like black wheels on a white GT (just personal preference, not knocking anyone who does by any means) unless it's NOT you're standard Bullitt, FR-500, Saleen, Cobra, etc.
Do the specs on those cams call for stronger valve springs?
Rarely do you hear about the last adjusters going back on these engines. They are pretty stout and seem to outlast the rest of the engine.
A simple check is to make sure your spark plugs are tight and you don't have a plug that's...
When I did my swap I used Ford gaskets that I bought from Summit Racing. I think they were around $20. I'd personally rather go with them than anything else, but Felpro is more than likely just fine.
I took pictures of the engine from a few angles before I dis-assembled and I labeled and...
I put nitrous on my GT around 140k. I did a compression test before I made that decision and was happy enough with the results. I started out with a 75 shot and now put a 125 shot through it.
Turbo setup is a lot easier on parts since boost builds up, whereas nitrous is an instant hit and...
I also HIGHLY suggest using the stock wheels. They are much lighter than the aftermarket wheels and will take the abuse just fine. I do, however, suggest not using a 275 tire on the stock wheel... it will bulge and cause the tires to roll over in the corner and understeer. I think the stock...
What are you getting it for? These are terrible cars to try to make money off of. They're a dime a dozen and the prices have really been driven down since the 11's and the fall of the 05-09 prices.
You can gain that MPH off weather alone. I assume you were probably racing in nice, cool weather though... so that may be as good as it gets.
That's not terrible for a stock car.
Offroad X and gear that pig!
