    What holds it on? Where are the attachment points? Does it use one time push clips? interlocking built in locks like the grill?? The right side of mine is loose.. with about a 3/8" gap between it and the Q panel. You can push on the bumper and close the gap.... but there must be a broken/loose...

    My 05 is just back from the body shop (what a nightmare, three attempts to fix a small issue /collision with a deer) On the last try, they at least got the paint and clear coat on with out runs, drips, modeling, bugs and dirt in the paint) How ever....     Thanks for the insight... I'm not worried,, just not happy with the design. I'll build a mount or bracket to fix the grill in place.

    The bumper was not replaced. Left fender, headlight bucket and marker/turn sig light were all replaced with OEM parts. Deer cought the leading edge of the fender and folded it in a bit. Really not much damage.

    A color matched bracket, helps blend in the plate a bit. I have a better bracket being painted now.. It only has two holes at the top, in the exact spot needed (so no slots like this generic holder)

    My GT is in the dealer body shop right now, for some warranty work.. The Paint guy is going to do up two frames for me. You can get a cheap, plain metal frame, that is rounded over on the edges and covers the plate. When paint matched..... they really help blend in the FUBAR ford made of plate...

    In Oregon, it is required of the dealer to INSTALL the front plate BRACKET. The owner can put the plate in it or not.. But it is required. I bought my GT in WA, so no front plate bracket required :banana: Though I installed one, adn the plate due to living in OR, and moving to TX soon...
