    It is just a more balanced shaft. It absorbs vibrations better too. Most high performance and luxury cars have them stock. It will make a gain of a couple of ponies due to the lighter material. If any gains are made you won't feel it.

    I have one. Not sure if it made a difference. But, it is lighter and more balanced, so that's got to be good. Also, MOST high performance and luxury cars have aluminum driveshafts, must be a reason. ;)
